Source: DDSA: The Molesworth Marathi and English Dictionarybhāṅgōḷī (भांगोळी).—f C (bhāṅga & ōḷa) A line made (on the head, back &c.) by removing the hair, fur &c. to both sides. As the grand line along the middle of the head (of women) is called bhāṅga, this word will be used only of minor or side-lines formed by parting the hair. 2 The line of short hairs on either side of the face (of women).
