Akalanīyatā (अकलनीयता) in Sanskrit refers to “prank, misconduct”, as is mentioned in the Vividhatīrthakalpa by Jinaprabhasūri (13th century A.D.): an ancient text devoted to various Jaina holy places (tīrthas). Note: The word akalanīyatā is not attested in the lexicons (Böhtlingk, PSM, Pāiasaddamahaṇṇavo and Sandesara): [supposedly a substantive is formed] from a denominative kalanāyati: to behave (from kalanā: behavior).
