Ajīvāstikāyam (அஜீவாஸ்திகாயம்) noun < a-jīva + asti-kāya. (Jaina philosophy) Ajīva or things inanimate as opposed to jīva, which is divided into two classes, arūpi, 'without form', which is subdivided into tarmāstikāyam, atarmāstikāyam, ākācāstikāyam and kālam, and rūpi, 'with form', which is known as puṟkalāstikāyam (some identify this last with ajīvāstikāyam), one of pañcāstikāyam, q.v.; பஞ்சதந்திரப் பாடற்ாஸ்திகாயத் தொன்று.
