(gni) One of the six kinds of स्त्रीधन (strīdhana) (woman's property) mentioned in Manusmṛti 9.194 (adhyagnya- dhyāvāhanikaṃ dattaṃ ca prītikarmaṇi | bhrātṛmātṛpitṛprāptaṃ ṣaḍvidhaṃ strīdhanaṃ smṛtam ||); a gift made to a woman at the time of marriage : विवाहकाले यत्स्त्रीभ्यो दीयते ह्यग्निसन्निधौ । तदध्यग्निकृतं सद्भिः स्त्रीधनं परिकीर्तितम् (vivāhakāle yatstrībhyo dīyate hyagnisannidhau | tadadhyagnikṛtaṃ sadbhiḥ strīdhanaṃ parikīrtitam) || So अध्यग्निकृतं अध्यग्न्युपागतम् (adhyagnikṛtaṃ adhyagnyupāgatam); पितृ- मातृपतिभ्रातृदत्तमध्यग्न्युपागतम् । आधिवेदनिकाद्यं च स्त्रीधनं परिकीर्तितम् (pitṛ- mātṛpatibhrātṛdattamadhyagnyupāgatam | ādhivedanikādyaṃ ca strīdhanaṃ parikīrtitam).
