(-raḥ) The accent of reduplicated bases (see abhyasta 2.), i. e. the udātta on the first syllable; e. g. a Vārtt. to Pāṇ. Vi. 1. 188.: svapādīnāṃ vā vacanādastasvaro vipratiṣedhena; or Pat. on a Vārtt. to Vi. 1. 192.: abhyastasvaro tra bādhako bhaviṣyati. E. abhyasta and svara.
