Source: ORA: Amanaska (king of all yogas): A Critical Edition and Annotated Translation by Jason BirchAbhyantaracintā (अभ्यन्तरचिन्ता) refers to “internal thoughts”, according to the Amanaska Yoga treatise dealing with meditation, absorption, yogic powers and liberation.—Accordingly, as Īśvara says to Vāmadeva: “[...] [The Yogin] whose whole body is held relaxed, [even] up to the tip of his toenails and the tuft of hair on the crown of his head, is free from all thoughts and movement, both externally and internally (abhyantaracintā) [sa bāhyābhyantare sarvacintāceṣṭāvivarjitaḥ]. [...]”.
