Source: Wisdom Library: Dharma-śāstraĀṭavikabala (आटविकबल) is a Sanskrit technical term, used in warfare, referring to “army of foresters”. It forms a factor of the six-fold force of the King. The word is used throughout Dharmaśāstra literature such as the Manusmṛti. (See the Manubhāṣya 7.184-185)
