—Such was the meaningful expression which the Tathāgata himself uttered to the Tathāgata himself. This completes the thirteenth chapter from the Secret Nucleus Definitive with respect to the Real, entitled [the Nucleus of] Most Secret Esoteric Instructions. [23]

Such was (zhes) the meaningful expression which (ched-du brjod-do) the Tathāgata (de-bzhin gshegs-pa) or lord of the maṇḍala. Samantabhadra himself uttered (nyid-kyis) to the Tathāgata himself (de-bzhin gshegs-pa-nyid-la), including the five enlightened families of self-manifesting array.
This completes (-'o) the exegesis of the thirteenth chapter (le'u-ste bcu-gsum-pa) from (las) the supremely Secret Nucleus (gsang-ba'i snying-po) Definitive with respect to the Real (de-kho-na-nyid nges-pa) oral instructions of the Great Perfection, which effects liberation in this very lifetime. It is entitled the Nucleus of (-gi snying-po) the Esoteric Instructions (man-ngag-gi) through which Buddha-hood is obtained in a single lifetime, and which are Most Secret (shin-tu gsang-ba) in comparison to the lower vehicles.
